Welcome to London Hammer School
London Hammer School (LHS) is a new athletics club dedicated to one event - hammer throwing. Our aim is to create a centre of excellence for this fascinating and highly technical atheltics event. Meeting twice weekly at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre (Wednesday evening and Sunday morning) we welcome all hammer throwers.

We mean all - young & old, men & women, girls & boys, beginners, returners, elite athletes. We don't have any qualifying levels for you to join - we just ask that you want to be better at this amazing event with a desire to learn & grow and show what you have learned by taking part in a range of athletics competitions.

We can then arrange a time for you to come along to one of our training sessions. We train every week come sun, rain or snow - if the weather is just too bad, at Lee Valley we can also use the dedicated indoor throws area.
