" It’s been my pleasure to support Jamie and the team at the London Hammer School (LHS). Having only recently registered as a club with England Athletics LHS have already gained all of the club standards, demonstrating their commitment to ensuring their club is safe, inclusive and sustainable for all of their members.

LHS were the main organisers of the inaugural England Athletics South Regional Winter Long Throws Championships. The event was a resounding success and will be a cornerstone of the competition calendar for throwers going forward.

Following the success of the winter long throws LHS have organised a series of competitions which have been a real hit with the full spectrum of throws with beginners, performance and masters athletes all finding the environment the club creates a fantastic one for them to achieve personal bests.

n addition to the competitions LHS has also organised a series of hammer clinics. The clinics are aimed at supporting their own members as well as the athletes and coaches in and around London to develop the technical, physical and psycho-social skills to achieve their best.

LHS is having a massively positive impact on throwing and athletics in their community. Their coaches and committee gives the very best for every member. I look forward to continuing to supporting you and watching you go from strength to strength."
